Andhra University Distance Education: For admission to Andhra University-SDE, online registrations are open for all applicants. Students will be invited to all of the university’s ODL courses for the August academic year. Admission to Andhra University’s distance learning program is expected to close on 15 September 2025. Online application forms are available on the official website. Political science, economics, history, etc., are among the more than 10 subjects in which AU SDE offers undergraduate courses. Andhra University Distance Education: Admissions 2025
AU SDE admits students to many distance learning courses during 2 academic sessions in February and August each year. Admission is open to students in a wide range of fields, including arts, business, science, management, language, and information technology. Distance education offers a variety of programs, including diploma and postgraduate diploma programs, BA, BCom, BSC, BBA, MA, MCom, MSC, MBA, MCA, and more. For the August 2025 academic year, Andhra University School of Distance Education will shortly begin the admissions process for distance learning courses. Although there isn’t a formal update, the expected date is June 2025.
Students can register for any courses, both online and offline. Applications will be selected on a merit basis. Students need to pay an application fee, which is 500 INR for all Indian students. This fee will be non-refundable.

AU CDOE: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must typically have passed a qualifying exam from an accredited board or university, such as a bachelor’s degree for postgraduate courses. A 10+2 for UG courses, to be eligible for Andhra University Distance Education. Each course has different requirements for eligibility; some ask for specific subjects like mathematics, and others.
For Undergraduate Courses- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (Higher Secondary) exam from an accredited board in order to be eligible for undergraduate (UG) courses. A minimum of 45% to 50% aggregate marks is also required at the School of Distance Education (AUSDE). Applicants with a Polytechnic Diploma must submit first-year proof of Math study along with a Diploma certificate. Reserved category applicants may get some relaxation to be eligible for the UG course.
For Postgraduate Courses- Applicants typically need a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in order to be eligible for a PG course. Depending on the PG program selected, specific eligibility requirements may differ. Some may require a relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.Com for an M.Com). Students should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category) in the qualifying exam for the MBA course.
