Kurukshetra University Distance Education: Applications for the July 2025 session have started at the Kurukshetra University School of Distance Education. About Kurukshetra University- The institution was established as a unitary residential university in 1956. When the first President of India, Bharat Ratna Rajendra Prasad, opened the university’s only department, it was the Department of Sanskrit. The university’s founding was the brainchild of Sanskrit scholar Chandeshwar Prasad Narayan Singh, who was the governor of Punjab at the time. For the July 2025 academic year, the KUK DDE Admission 2025 deadline is 10 October 2025. Admissions are available to KUK DDE during the January and July academic sessions. For the 2025-26 academic year, Kurukshetra University officials have now made the admissions announcement for all of their distance learning courses available. Students can apply for admission to distance learning programs at Kurukshetra University online. A fee of INR 800 is required to enroll in any of the programs online. Certain groups, such as SC, EBPG, and BC, are eligible to deposit INR 150. 

Admission to a variety of UG and PG programs is available at Kurukshetra University, including Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, Bachelor of Computer Application, Master of Library and Information Sciences, Master of Business Administration, and others. Students must fulfill the basic requirements for admission to all courses, which are determined by merit lists.

Kurukshetra University Distance Education UG Admission 2025

Kurukshetra University offers a variety of undergraduate courses for distance education. In this blog, we have mentioned the list of provided courses with their fee structure. Different courses have different eligibility criteria that students need to qualify for admission. 

Generally, applicants must have passed their 12th class from a recognized school. Some programs may ask for specific subjects as a requirement. Applicants must have earned a minimum of 45%- 50% marks to be eligible for any UG courses. Admissions normally begin in July, and Kurukshetra University. The majority of the application process takes place online. Candidates who are UR, ST, or OBC must pay INR 800 for UG courses, while those who are SC or BC must pay INR 200.

Postgraduate (PG) programs are available from Kurukshetra University’s Directorate of Distance Education. Candidates for these programs must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Admission is mostly determined by merit. Applicants must have a minimum of 50% marks in their bachelor’s degree to get admission into PG distance learning courses. 

There is no entrance exam for the majority of postgraduate courses, including MSc. Admission will be based on the entrance exam. Candidates must register on the official DDE KUK website before beginning the online application process.
